SeaShade Engineering

The Problems

Have you used plastic shopping bags, straws, or cutlery? These are some of the top everyday plastic items harming our oceans. The detrimental impact of these everyday items are often disregarded. As a matter of fact there are trillions of micro pieces of plastic in our oceans. The problem is that our oceans are being polluted with litter. This is awful because plastics are causing ingestion, suffocation and entanglement of hundreds of marine species. This affects us humans because toxins from the plastics have entered the food chain, threatening human health. Along with this sunlight often shines directly into drivers’ eyes, leaving many of them driving with a glare. This glare makes it much harder to see the road ahead creating an added risk to drivers. Also the UV and IR rays radiated from the sun are harmful to humans potentially causing skin cancer and fatigue while driving.

Goals

Here at TideTech, we value these goals because we know they will help us succeed. Our business uses a mix of S.M.A.R.T and H.A.R.D goals as a strategy for TideTech.
